Remove an Intimate Image

Effective September 15, 2026

Our commitment

If an intimate image or video of you was shared on Primal Play without your consent, you can ask us to remove it. This includes images faked or altered to look like you. When a request is valid, we remove the image within 48 hours of receiving it, along with any identical copies we know of.

This covers everywhere on Primal Play: profiles, community posts and comments, and photos sent in chats. It is our process under the TAKE IT DOWN Act.

Who can ask

The person shown in the image, or someone authorized to act for them, such as a parent, guardian, or lawyer. You do not need a Primal Play account.

How to ask

Email primalplayapp@gmail.com and include:

  • Your signature. Type your full legal name at the end of the email. If you are asking for someone else, give their name too and say how you are authorized to act for them.
  • Where the image is. The name on the profile that shared it, and whether it is on a profile, in a community post or comment, or in a chat, with anything else that helps us find it. You do not need to send us the image.
  • A short statement. Say that you believe in good faith the image was shared without your consent, and add any details that help us understand what happened.
  • How to reach you. An email address or phone number where we can contact you about the request.

If you have the Primal Play app, you can also report the image from where it appears. For a photo sent to you in a chat, choose Shared without consent as the reason.

What happens next

We review every request, and if we need more information to find the image, we contact you using the details you gave us. When a request is valid, we remove the image and any identical copies we know of within 48 hours, and we may remove the account that shared it.

A removed image can no longer be seen by anyone on Primal Play, including the people in a chat. We keep a restricted copy for our moderation records and, where the law requires it, for law enforcement.

If the image shows someone under 18

Say so in your request, and do not attach the image. We treat it as a child safety report: we remove it, preserve the records the law requires, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). Our Child Safety Standards explain more. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Other help

Take It Down, run by NCMEC, helps remove intimate images taken of someone before they turned 18 from the platforms that take part. For adults, StopNCII.org helps stop intimate images being shared on the platforms that take part.
