Delete Your Account
Effective October 7, 2026
About this page
This page explains how to delete your account and the data attached to it in Primal Play, the private 18+ lifestyle social app for verified adults and couples developed and published by Make Boise LLC.
You do not need to sign in to read this page or to send us a deletion request. There are two ways to delete an account: from inside the app, or by email if you cannot get into the app.
Delete your account in the app
Open Primal Play and go to the Profile tab. Choose Delete account at the bottom of the list, then confirm. The deletion runs as soon as you confirm and cannot be undone.
The same Delete account action is on the waitlist screen and on the screen shown to removed accounts, so you can delete your account even if you were never admitted to the community or your access has been taken away.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, email primalplayapp@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. Putting "Delete my account" in the subject line helps us route it quickly.
We reply to the address the request came from. If it does not come from the address on the account, we will ask you for something that shows you control the account before we delete anything, because deleting the wrong account cannot be reversed.
Deletion is immediate and permanent
Deleting your account is not a deactivation, a freeze, or a hold. There is no cooling-off window and no way to reactivate. The records listed below are removed as the request runs, and your sign-in stops working straight away.
We cannot restore a deleted account, profile, or conversation. If you want to use Primal Play again later, you will need to sign up as a new member.
If you have a membership
Deleting your account does not cancel a membership. Apple or Google bills it, and it keeps renewing until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancel it there first.
What is deleted
Deleting your account removes:
- Your sign-in record, including your email address and login credentials.
- Your profile: display name, personal details, prompts, preferences, and the photo list shown on it.
- Your membership in your organization. If you were its last member, the organization and its shared couple profile are deleted with it, along with its swipes and the favorites and profile views recorded against it in both directions.
- Your direct messages, including the original text we retain for moderation when you delete one of your own messages from a conversation.
- Your feed posts and comments. Your likes go too, unless a partner stays, because a like belongs to the shared profile rather than to you alone.
- Your notifications, notification settings, and push notification tokens.
- Your verification request and photo review records.
What we keep
Images you uploaded are held in file storage separately from your account records, and account deletion does not erase them from that storage. Profile photos sit in a public bucket, so a direct link to one keeps working after your account is gone. Verification selfies and images still waiting on review sit in private buckets that cannot be opened from a plain link, but those files remain too.
We can erase your uploaded images on request, but ask us before you delete your account. Those files are stored under your account identifier, and once the account is gone we have no way to match your email address back to them.
Two records held by our providers are not removed either: the analytics events PostHog holds about how you used the app, and the purchase record RevenueCat holds if you bought a membership. Both are stored under your account identifier, not your name or email address. We can erase them on request, but ask us before you delete your account, for the same reason.
Reports and moderation decisions are kept so that we can act on abuse that comes back later and meet our legal obligations, including our child safety obligations. Your account identifier is removed from those records when your account is deleted. What remains is the report itself and the copy of the reported content taken when it was reported, with no account attached.
One case worth naming: if you share an organization with a partner who stays a member, the organization and its shared couple profile are not deleted, because they are not yours alone. Your own membership, profile, messages, and personal records are still removed. Your partner keeps the shared profile along with its favorites, profile views, likes, swipes, and any private album access it was granted.
Your own photos come off the shared profile: your profile photo and the photos on your personal profile are removed from both its public and private albums. Photos of the two of you together stay, because your partner appears in them too, and your partner can remove any of them in the app.
Retention
Deletion of the records listed above is immediate. They are removed as the request runs rather than queued for a later cleanup, so there is no retention period to state for them.
Safety records are kept for as long as they are needed for the purposes described above. We do not put a fixed expiry on them, because the reason for keeping them is to recognize abuse that returns.
Our hosting provider takes encrypted infrastructure backups on its own schedule, so a copy of deleted records can sit in a backup until it rolls off. We do not use backups to bring a deleted account back.
If you want to know whether we still hold anything relating to you, email primalplayapp@gmail.com and ask.
